Weldon Early Years Learning, Baulkham Hills  is looking for a  Diploma Educator 

THE ROLE:

This role is a Permanent Fulltime position working 38 hours per week and requires you to work 5 days a week in a variety of shifts ranging from 7:15am starts, and 6:00pm finish. We are a 38 place early years program seeking a Diploma educator who understands that relationships with the team, families, children, and the wider community is the basis of quality.

About you

• you will have knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 as well as Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
• Excellent verbal and written skills in communication with families and educators
• Above all, you have a true passion for supporting; nurturing and caring for children and seeing them reach their potential.   All applicants will be subject to the relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks

CERTIFICATE 3 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR We currently have a permanent position for a Certificate 3 Educator to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:15 pm. 

About Us 

The Children’s Preschool is located at Glenhaven, in the Sydney Hills District. The service has a professional, kind and supportive team that provides quality education and care for 39 children aged between 3 - 6 years old.  There is an emphasis on creating a home-like environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn. We have a close-knit and supportive community of educators, families and children. 

Selection Criteria for this position: 

Legislative 

• Completed Certificate III in Children services qualification 
• Current First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates
• Current Working with Children Clearance check
• Current Child Protection training and understanding of Mandatory Reporting procedures. 
• Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF
• Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
• A completed  COVID-19 vaccination schedule.
• Authorisation to work in Australia  

Professional 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ensure a high-quality early education program is implemented.
• Provide children with a warm and nurturing setting to thrive. 
• Provide a safe physical environment whilst providing an engaging and meaningful play-based program.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a vibrant and cohesive culture.
• Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and fellow educators
• Actively contribute to the educational program, observations and documentation, using a digital platform and informal opportunities to communicate regularly on our children’s progress and experience with their families

Must have own transport
